Correspondence, creative works, maps, photographs, microfilm, and printed material (8 ft. 9 in.) document his life and research interests, including Texas history and bibliography and history of the book.

    The Center holds a large collection of Doyle’s spirit photographs, in which ghostly apparitions hover over the living, as well as his copies of the Cottingley fairy photographs. Doyle used the photographs to illustrate an article he wrote for The Strand Magazine about fairies and interpreted the images as clear evidence of their existence Author: Arcadia Falcone. Includes manuscripts and correspondence of the Irish poet and playwright Austin Clarke, who founded the Lyric Theatre Company. Among his correspondents are John Betjeman, Richard Church, Padraic Colum, T. S. Eliot, George William Russell, and others.
